Safety Information
Read and follow the safety precautions that appear on the cylinder label.
Store and use cylinders in a well-ventilated area and transport cylinders only in a well-ventilated vehicle. Helium gas is odorless and nontoxic, but can cause suffocation by displacing the oxygen you breathe.
Do not store the cylinders near extremes of heat or near electrical devices. Never let a cylinder be subjected to a temperature above 125° F.
Never remove cylinder valve protection cap until the cylinder is secured in an upright position and ready to use.
Keep the cylinder in a secured location with the appropriate measures taken to ensure stability of the cylinder.
KEEP CYLINDERS SECURELY CHAINED OR IN A SAFETY STAND AT ALL TIMES. No exceptions!
Never transport or move a cylinder with the regulator attached and without the cylinder protection cap in place.
Do not breathe helium from a cylinder or from helium filled balloons.
Close the cylinder valve after each use and when empty.
